Summary/Abstract: Ioana Parvulescu describes here the various obstacles that a course book author is confronted with. By giving the example of her own tries starting from the difficulties in finding material to the narrowness of mind of those responsible with the approvals the author concludes with bitterness that the only accepted standard for a course book in Romania is the cost which has to be low.
