Summary/Abstract: The article is addressed to description of bone, antler and ivory industries of the Early Upper Paleolithic sites in Europe (~40000–25000 B.P.). The processes behind the appearance of osseous technology at the beginning of Upper Paleolithic in Europe is a quite disputing topic. In the study of the Early Upper Paleolithic researches are usually based on the study of stone tools. Publications of bone tools from some sites have a descriptive character; the synthesis of findings or comparison with other industries are not conducted. However, such a comparison may help to investigate the difference of processing methods for different bone raw materials, and, by finding similarities, to determine common characteristics of bone industries of this era.
