Summary/Abstract: The article shed light to the history of the term «buried treasure blades» in Avdeevo and Kostenki 1/1. In these sites, blades are often found as groups, frequently laying in pits and often as flaking products of one or two cores, and have the certain morphological features; this does not allow to put them together with blades from ‘buried treasures’ in other sites without a preliminary comparative analysis. The ‘buried treasure blades’ is a quite perspective category for study. The author believes that the research results can complicate the typological appearance of the Kostenki culture.
