Derogatory legal regime of the cinema and audiovisual works

Summary/Abstract: This study proposes a different approach from the traditional one and expressed in the specialty works: that is, the approach of the requalification of the audiovisual works under the form of collective works and a de lege ferenda proposal for clarifying their status in the Law no. 8/1996 on copyrights and the related rights, until the enactment of which, the cinematographic and audiovisual works were defined in the Decree no. 321/1956 as collective works.
