Summary/Abstract: The text gives the German translation of one chapter of Chapski's book «Terre Inhumaine» (Paris, Edition Self, Les Iles d'Or), one of the most impressive report among numerous publoications about the soviet GuLag. The book tells the story of the Polish Annders Army from its recruitment in Soviet Union until its march to Persia and the transport later by ship to Italy. The recruitment of the Polish Army for the first time revealed testimonies and proofs of the massacre of Katyn, and Chapski's had been assigned to collect and to protocol all the evidences for this crime.
