Summary/Abstract: The more and more frequently discussed and disseminated method for the analysis of external examination results – the educational value added (EVA) – has been presented in the context of the McKinsey&Company Report and works of the EVA Research Group. EVA method allows monitoring of the activities of schools with respect to the state and changes in the areas of: (1) effects of work, (2) realized processes, (3) cooperation with the local community, (4) management of the school. We have proposed to broaden the perspective on the issues of EVA and education quality by recognizing the state of knowledge about the method of EVA and attitudes to/towards it amongst future teachers, currently preparing for the profession. A part of own pilot study, carried out using a questionnaire of multithreading survey, has been reported focusing on the results directly related to the EVA.
