Periodicals about the “Alexander Nevsky” movie. 1938-1939 (part II).

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the articles in Soviet periodicals, devoted to the premiere and film distributon of the S. M. Eisenstein picture «Alexander Nevsky». Authors pay special attention to critical responses on the movie, that are insufficiently studied at the moment. Basing on materials found in contemporary newspapers, authors disprove the thesis that the film was banned after the signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact.
