Assessment of Professional Competence of Finance Specialists from Bank Executive’s Approach

Summary/Abstract: Due to the changes in knowledge economy, the finance specialist’s profession competence changes as well. This article explores profession competence of finance specialists, which work in the bank. The survey results are analyzed as well. The respondents are bank’s executives, as they can define financiers from capabilities, knowledge and peculiarities approach. The survey results highlight the most significant knowledge and capabilities in bankers’ activity, reveals peculiarities, which propels professional success and indicates the main elements of profession competence assessment in finance specialist hiring process. The knowledge of finance herewith management, economics and other science are discussed in assessment of profession knowledge’s need.
