Summary/Abstract: EUROPEAN LAW // The free movement of persons, one of the main freedoms on the internal market, is guaranteed to all European citizens and their families of whatever nationality, in accordance with the provisions of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. The principle of free movement of persons with the termination of control on the internal frontiers is part of the conception for a common internal market, in which internal frontiers do not exist and all citizens can move freely. The right of free movement of persons includes: the freedom of movement of citizens and the freedom of movement of workers as well as the right to establish and provide services. The exercise of these rights falls within the scope of protection against discrimination. Every citizen of the European Union has the right to move, enter, exit and reside freely within the territory of the Member States in accordance with the stipulated limitations and conditions, regardless of their economic activity. The citizens have the right to work in another Member State without work permit, as well as get equal treatment with the other employees of the Member States and equal social and tax reliefs.
