Film as a text of culture in intercultural communication (using films in teaching foreigners about Poland and its culture)

Summary/Abstract: The author presents his experience gathered while running the cycle of projections of Polish films designed for foreigners. He considers such texts of culture an urge to discuss the cultural differences which would enable the foreigners to acquire knowledge of Polish culture. The article presents the selection of films preferred by the author in didactic process.
