Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the principles and draft internal rules governing the use of artificial intelligence systems in the Chancellery of the Sejm, based on the EU AI Act, the GDPR, and relevant Council of Europe and other international organisations. The proposed framework aims to ensure the responsible, safe and effective use of AI while maintaining human oversight, data protection, transparency, and accountability. It provides, in particular, for risk classification, controlled deployment, and auditing of AI systems, mandatory staff training, a register of approved tools, and practical rules for AI use, including a prohibition on entering sensitive data into publicly available AI tools and an obligation to verify AI-generated content.
