Summary/Abstract: This article proposes the term autistic realism to describe a literary idiom that not only represents neurodiversity but also actualises it through its writing strategies. As illustrated by techniques such as enumeration, repetition, literalism, the dispersal of references, and the avoidance of metaphor, these function as tools of (dis)orientation and autopoietic regulation in response to an excess of reality. Methodologically, the author draws on a critique of neurotypicality as a literary filter, alongside perspectives from phenomenology and neurodiversity studies (Merleau-Ponty, J. M. Rodas). The analysis focuses on Tao Lin’s Eeeee Eee Eeee and Ulillillia’s The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters and blogs.
