Summary/Abstract: Young people are very important for the Church. For this reason, the present. The article aims to analyse the present and potential place of young people in the Church. On the one hand, to help and develop local Orthodox communities, because they are young. People are a very important human resource in the social and voluntary work of the Church, both at the parish and diocesan levels, and on the other hand, to form and help young people to develop in a harmonious social, intellectual and spiritual way. Through all its actions, the Holy Church, together with the other two essential institutions of education, the school and the family, can offer today’s young people the chance to find themselves, lost in the multitude of everyday information, but also to find the spark that will ignite the fire of knowledge, friendship and love for the creator and his friends.
