An Image of the Hierarchy of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church in the Context of the War in Ukraine Based on Selected Documents and Information Provided by the Mass Media

Summary/Abstract: Armed conflicts in Ukraine initiated by the Russian Federation can be noted as early as February 2014. The actions quickly turned into a full-scale war in the heart of Europe that continues to this day. The aim of this article is to show the dependencies and complexity of the attitudes of the hierarchy of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church headed by Metropolitan Sawa. The war in Ukraine left its mark on the relations within the Orthodox Church in all countries, including Poland.
