Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes Głos Kobiet, the official journal of Women’s Section of the Polish Socialist Party, as an intratextual field in which feminist and anti-fascist counterpublic is articulated in interwar Poland. Focusing on the fifth issue from September–October 1935, the study demonstrates how paratextual signaling and the transposition of dominant narrative elements produce a new system of values and meanings. Furthermore, it examines how the magazine functions as a site for negotiating the boundaries between the private and the public, politicizing women’s subjective experiences, and articulating the figure of the woman as an active political subject.
