The procedure for the election of members of the State Tribunal

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the issue of the procedure for the election of the members of the State Tribunal by the Sejm. The research topics dealt with, on the one hand, regulations in force in Poland in the past and, on the other hand, current regulations. In the case of the latter, the problem of defects and ambiguities of the constitutional, statutory and standing order provisions established by the legislator has been very strongly highlighted. In this respect, the author undertakes a critical assessment of a number of regulations, reaching back to the views of other authors expressed in the past, while also presenting her own position. The considerations in their essential layer are of a historical-legal and dogmatic-legal nature.
