Constitutional guarantees of the state towards employees with disabilities

Summary/Abstract: The welfare state policy must take into account, first and foremost, the special needs of groups that have been placed in a worse and problematic situation by their life situation or blind fate. These groups include, first and foremost, the elderly and the disabled. The aim of this article is to discuss the guarantees of support and care that are included in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland of 1997 and are directed towards employees with disabilities. These are guarantees of equal rights with able-bodied persons, guarantees of conducting an appropriate, supportive employment policy, guarantees of providing special health care and special support for these persons.
