Using Interactive Teaching Methods in Chemistry Lessons: Methodological Considerations

Summary/Abstract: Due to the new requirements, there is currently a need to reorganize and reconsider the structure of the chemistry lesson in terms of using more interactive activities and teaching methods. Such developments also modify the role of the teacher, transforming him/her into a moderator of student discussions, a manager, a creator who aims to discover how to foster the students’ interest for chemistry, and a guide in the process of acquiring and developing new competences.
