Parental Education in the Context of Analyzing the Impact of Family Myths and Psychodynamic Phenomena on the Parent-Child Relationship

Summary/Abstract: The article represents a theoretical and applicative study that elucidates the specificity and impact of family myths on the occurrence and manifestation of psychodynamic phenomena within the family and the parent-child relationship. Explaining the functions, coordinates, characteristics and impact of family myths on the occurrence and manifestation of psychodynamic phenomena (such as projective identification and family attachment), the author reveals the essence and importance of family memory, of the rituals and the scenarios based on these. At the end of the study conditions and strategies of parental education are proposed, having been experimentally validated in family counseling.
