Summary/Abstract: ICT is very efficient in developing pupils’ competences in different subjects; moreover, it also has a positive impact on team work and the development of creativity. Participating in various projects, preparing Power Point presentations, building websites, and writing simple software or even organizing webinars – all of these together can help the pupils acquire a great number of skills and competences in different fields. Following the same order of ideas, I can say that ICT can help teachers and their pupils go beyond boundaries, because their working together on the same Internet platforms can bring numerous benefits to either of them. Everyone has their own part to play: the pupils may be able to discover and assimilate modern technologies more quickly, but the teachers can help them identify and understand mistakes and show how to avoid risks when surfing the Net or spending time in the virtual world.
