Summary/Abstract: This study analyzes the influence of domestic political, economic, and security dynamics on Türkiye’s foreign policy behavior during the 1990–2010 period within the framework of neoclassical realism. By integrating the national and international systems with domestic constraints, leaders’ perceptions, and preferences whose importance in decision-making processes has grown neoclassical realism explains and interprets Türkiye’s foreign policy through the lens of domestic policy analysis. In this context, how Türkiye shaped the shift in its relations with Israel has been examined across two periods. Domestic intervening variables have been incorporated into the analytical framework, presented through a neoclassical realist perspective, and analyzed in the context of Turkish foreign policy using concrete facts. The findings demonstrate that Türkiye’s foreign policy behavior is shaped not only by systemic factors but also by changes in its domestic political structure, economic capacity, and security perceptions.
