Summary/Abstract: The article comprehensively investigates the theoretical and methodological foundations of linguoculturology, one of the leading fields in modern linguistics, alongside the linguocultural characteristics of numerals used in the Azerbaijani language. The main purpose of the study is to reveal the essence of numerals in language not only as mathematical categories denoting quantity, but as linguoculturemes that preserve the national-mental mindset, mythical worldview, ritual, and ethno- psychological codes of the people. Utilizing diachronic and synchronic analysis methods, the study examines the semantic features of sacred numerals in our language, as well as traces of the "thirty" and "fifty" numeral systems inherent in ancient Turkic languages. Based on rich linguistic materials drawn from the epic "Kitabi-Dada Gorgud", the poetry of I. Nasimi and Ashig Alasgar, as well as Azerbaijani folk tales, toponyms, and paremiological units, the article explores the connotative meanings carried by numerals in the linguocultural plane. The results of the study show that the linguocultural analysis of numerals not only illuminates the archaic cultural layers of the people but also holds significant scientific importance in understanding the deep layers of national cognition and intercultural communication.
