Summary/Abstract: The Academy for Music and Dance in Jerusalem was founded in 1958. The Department of Musical Pedagogy began training music teachers for general education schools in 1980, and since 1983, graduates have received B. Ed degrees. Music, and in science and second degree in musical pedagogy. In Israel there are a number of pedagogical colleges, which include training for teachers, teachers and music teachers, but the Academy is distinguished by its unique opportunities and the students have a lot of attention to a musical base, knowledge of various musical cultures and creative experience.
