Mietczyński's (Wy)bryk as a Way of Building Bridges of Communication in Polish Language and Literature Education

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the results of research conducted as part of the bachelor's thesis on the language of audiovisual summaries published by Mieciu Mietczyński, which were juxtaposed with the opinions of students and teachers about it. The work presents the work of the youtuber as a way of building communication bridges between the student and the literary work, which can make it easier for the young recipient to encounter a book that fits into the framework of the so-called edutainment. It also shows the dangers that the use of these materials can bring during school education. The collected statements from students and teachers also show significant differences between these groups, which are related to the way YouTubers use materials published on the Internet.
