Summary/Abstract: This text attempts to reconstruct the individual feelings, places, people, and habits captured and preserved by a fragment (snippet) of a poetic fabric. It is also an attempt to explore and show how poetic stitches are woven into the fabric of a poem. The introduction consists of questions about the role and significance of poetry and the poet, with the research material being a single tetrastich from Antoni Słonimski's poem YT OT.
