Summary/Abstract: This systematic literature review aims to fill significant gaps in the existing body of knowledge by contributing to a deeper understanding of the relationship between personality and religiosity. In this context, a systematic analysis of quantitative cross sectional studies in the Turkish literature that examine the relationship between religiosity and personality is presented. Another objective of the study is to identify the variability of the overall relationship between the two variables and to assess the risk of bias in studies meeting the inclusion criteria. Accordingly, the academic databases DergiPark, Google Scholar, YÖK National Thesis Center, Scopus, and Web of Science were searched in accordance with the PRISMA protocol. A total of 36,401 records were identified, and following a comprehensive screening process, 28 studies meeting the defined criteria were analyzed in detail. Most of these studies measured the dimensions of religiosity and personality using standardized instruments such as the Five-Factor Model of personality and the Religiosity Scale. The findings indicate that religiosity is significantly associated with positive personality traits (agreeableness and conscientiousness), while negative personality dimensions such as neuroticism are more closely linked to extrinsic religiosity. Methodological evaluation was conducted using the CASP guidelines, and the reliability and validity of the findings from the included studies were found to be at moderate to high levels.
