Summary/Abstract: The 19th century marked a favourable period for the emancipation of the woman. This thing is more and more highlighted in the literary creations. The realities of this period from the history are mostly shown by authors, who adopt an objective point of view in their papers. “The border” from the private sphere, of the household, is easier to transfer towards the public one, especially by women. It is the moment in history when we have a clear definition of the concept of public and private sphere. Together with this distinction also a progress is pursued through the social activities of each person to be developed in the two areas already mentioned.
