Summary/Abstract: This work wants to prove how the theme of provisionality manages to bring cursivity and coherence in Gabriela Adameșteanu's literary work. It is tried to assay the offering of an answer at the question: wherefrom takes the theme of provisionality the radiant force on the whole narrative architecture? The answer comes from exploring the existential and obsessional universe of this literary work. Provisory is the space in which the clandestine love is consumed, and also, provisory is the clandestine love itself. The time of the history proves itself to be provisory, because of the repeated approaches and gateways from a period of time which marks out only contrasts. Certain characters feel that provisory is their incorporation in a system that they hope can be itself provisory. Provisory is the silence and the extreme disorder. The acceptance of the humiliation and breakthrough. The feeling of solidarity between people sometimes seems to be so authenticjust because it is itself, provisory. The good mood is provisory, in the same way that the masks people wear in society and also in the life couple are provisory. Including also some elements that are in a close relationship with the resistence of oneself to the circumstance, elements such as the forgetfulness and break-up, which are also provisory. It will be proved that this creative obssesion determined the author to write all her books taking this theme into consideration. So, we can not speak about a fortuitous recurrence, dictated of a fixed mental preoccupation. It is about the flow itself, the fluency, the hidden indetermination of something creative, always on moving and metamorphosing.
