Summary/Abstract: Disinformation has become one of the key tools of cognitive warfare, aimed at influencing the perceptions, emotions and decisions of societies. Its systemic impact leads to an erosion of trust – both in public institutions and in the information system itself – and deepens social polarisation. As a result, not only is society’s resilience to threats weakened, but also the strategic capabilities of the state.
