CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN MOUNTAIN RESCUE USING UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of research on an innovative approach to the use of drones in rescue operations in difficult-to-access mountainous terrain. The article focuses on the issue of logistical management in crisis situations and the analysis of the potential of unmanned aerial vehicles for improving the effectiveness and safety of rescue operations, particularly in the context of quickly locating victims, assessing the situation from the air, and delivering first-aid supplies. The authors present research results demonstrating the effectiveness of drones in accelerating rescue operations thanks to their ability to quickly reach places inaccessible to traditional rescue methods. The importance of integrating crisis management techniques to increase the effectiveness of mountain rescue operations is also emphasised. The aim of the article is to indicate the possibilities offered by unmanned aerial vehicles in conducting mountain rescue operations, as well as to indicate improvements in the area of logistics that will make rescue operations using transport drones more effective.
