Summary/Abstract: The article presents methodological approaches and an original concept for shaping the transcultural competences of future teachers as a mechanism for improving integrative skills in the process of professional preparation. Theoretically grounded pedagogical concepts are presented, emphasising the importance of developing students' creative individuality. It is emphasised that a competent teacher should have a modern intercultural outlook, innovative knowledge, polyglot preparation, actively demonstrate a desire for professional development, and be ready to implement progressive innovations in accordance with the requirements of contemporary digital society. The search for ways of shaping the transcultural competences of future teachers within the system of continuing education is determined not only by the importance of developing the field of education as the developmental potential of every society, but also by the fact that in contemporary society, research in this direction can form an integrative basis not only for the development of an individual, a small or large social group, but also for the nation as a whole. Based on a generalisation of scientific information, it was found that transcultural competence is an integrated professional and personal trait of a future professional, based on professionalism, encompassing the ability to ensure the individual's activity in any environment thanks to internal readiness for effective interaction and rapid adaptation to the environment, and the transformation of value orientations that ensure a tolerant attitude towards representatives of other social groups and other nationalities. The application of pedagogical modelling made it possible to develop an organisational and pedagogical model for shaping the transcultural competences of future teachers within the system of continuing education, which is the author's own product based on the application of innovative approaches and personal experience. The author's model has explanatory, descriptive, predictive, cultural and socio-educational functions, thereby avoiding duplication while revealing the necessary theoretical, methodological and practical resources. The developed model for shaping the transcultural competences of future teachers included organisational-informational, enrichment-search and control-generalisation stages, as well as an indication of the pedagogical conditions increasing the effectiveness of this process. The functions and structural components of the indicated competence, elements of the innovative educational environment of a higher education institution, and their importance in shaping students' pedagogical skills were also identified.
