Summary/Abstract: The article undertakes multidimensional considerations on the subjectivity of court probation officers in the context of their relationships with wards and their actions in the open environment, addressing the officer's dependency on the court institution and their role as resocialisation pedagogue. The development of probation over the years, current legal regulations, and the concept of subjectivity are presented, showing that Poland's court probation system creates conditions for officer subjectivity, though not all officers feel a sense of agency and autonomy in their work.
