Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the functional and technical plane of politics which shapes Polish entrepreneurship, examining public policy as a discipline of science originating from the Anglo-Saxon tradition. The article notes that all Polish public policies are an expression of state centralist assumptions, characterized by a strong rooting in political processes and an emphasis on the role of state institutions.
