Summary/Abstract: Social competencies are essential skills in personal, professional, and social life, primarily acquired through social training. This study compared the social competencies and well-being of adolescents living with their families and those residing in bursas (a specific type of boarding facility in Poland) during the school week. Results showed that adolescents living away from their families on school days demonstrated higher assertiveness, social exposure, and overall well-being, particularly in emotional and social dimensions.
