Summary/Abstract: In this paper I wrote about Turing’s conception of intelligence and his idea of imitation game that should replace question “Can machines think?”. In fi rst part of this work I tried to summarize basic concepts of Turing Test as they are presented in Computer Machinery and Intelligence (Turing, 1950), and in second part of this work I explain three main objections to this idea. I used Searle’s, Block’s and French’s arguments against Turing Test to show weakest points in Turing’s theory, but I also tried to emphasize importance of Turing’s universal machine concept and Church-Turing thesis.
