Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, as the use of artificial intelligence increases, attitudes towards artificial intelligence vary among individuals. This study aimed to examine the relationships between attitudes towards the use of artificial intelligence in psychotherapy (ATAIP) and self-stigma in seeking psychological help, intolerance of uncertainty, and psychological flexibility. In the study, 524 participants between the ages of 18-60 were reached by convenience sampling method. The Demographic Information Form, Attitudes Towards Artificial Intelligence Based Psychotherapy, Self-Stigma Scale in Seeking Psychological Help, Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale, and Acceptance and Action Questionnaire–II were applied to these participants who gave their voluntary consent. As a result of the study, while self-stigma in seeking psychological help was found to be related to ATAIP (r = .09, p < .05), it was concluded that intolerance of uncertainty (r = - .03, p > .05) and psychological flexibility (r = .05, p > .05) were not related to ATAIP. In addition, the hypothesis regarding the moderating role of psychological flexibility in the relationship between self-stigma in seeking psychological help and ATAIP was not supported (β = -.00, F(3,520) = 1.70, R 2 = .01, CI[-.01, .00]). As a result, it was concluded that psychological flexibility did not have a protective role in the effects of self-stigma in seeking psychological help on ATAIP. Given the limited number of studies, it is thought that evaluating the situations related to stigma in seeking psychological help and developing interventions in this sense can change ATAIP. Finally, the limitations and suggestions for future studies are included.
