Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to examine the impact of STEAM+E²-based music activities on the problem-solving skills of preschool children. For this purpose, the study employs a pre-test and post-test experimental design with a control group. The research was conducted in the 2024-2025 academic year at the kindergarten of Private Seviye Schools located in Ankara. The study group consisted of 28 children aged 60-72 months who displayed normal development. The 'Problem-Solving Skills Scale' was administered as a pre-test to both experimental and control groups before the implementation began. In this study, a new seven component model, defined as STEAM integrated learning with the addition of Ethical and Environment fields (designated as E² by the researcher), was tested. The experimental group was exposed to "STEAM+E²-based music activities" for 30-40 minutes once a week for 6 weeks, whereas no special activity was applied to the control group. According to the results obtained from the research, a significant difference was found in the post-test scores between the experimental and control groups in favor of the experimental group. In conclusion, when activities implemented in preschool education are supported by STEAM+E²-based music activities, they positively contribute to the development of children’s problem-solving skills.
