Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the impact of social media addiction on people's moral development and value formation. The study used a qualitative approach to review literature, systematically analyze academic articles, reports, and books, and comparatively evaluate existing theoretical approaches and implementation strategies. The significance of the study lies in the fact that social media addiction in the digital age must be addressed not only as a behavioral problem but also as a multidimensional crisis leading to spiritual deprivation and moral decay. The findings demonstrate that school-based character education programs and digital literacy training alone are insufficient and that spiritual awareness, digital fasting practices, and holistic interventions supported by family and community are more effective in reducing the risk of social media addiction. As a result, the study emphasizes that interdisciplinary, culturally sensitive, and spiritually reference-based value education strategies are one of the most important tools for strengthening individual resilience to the rapidly changing attention and pleasure dynamics of the digital age. For future research, it is recommended to examine cross-cultural comparisons, the effects of AI-supported educational platforms, and the long-term consequences of family digital role formation processes.
