Summary/Abstract: One of the most remarkable sopranos of the country, Marieta Grebenișan, born in Arad, with a prestigious artistic career, is part of the golden generation of founding soloists of the Timișoara Opera. An emeritus artist, with advanced studies in the art of singing in Saint Petersburg, she covers an extensive repertoire, both Italian, French, German as well as Russian and of course Romanian. She performs in opera, operetta and lied recitals on the most important stages of the country but also abroad. She is appreciated, at the same time, for the teaching activity trough which she has helped both her colleagues and especially generations of young people at the beginning of their careers.
