Summary/Abstract: The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital applications into the initial and continuous training of border police authorities represents an emerging dimension of the European Union's educational and security policies. This study examines the potential of these technologies to support professional competence development through adaptive learning tools, advanced simulations, and interactive digital environments. The analysis highlights both the benefits—such as the increase efficiency of the educational process, enhanced interoperability, and strengthened capacity to address security challenges—and the associated limitations, particularly regarding ethical implications and data protection requirements. The findings emphasize the necessity of a unified, sustainable, and standards-compliant approach in order to fully leverage digital innovation within the professional training of border police authorities.
