Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a detailed archaeological and historical analysis of objects uncovered in Central Dra’ Abu el¬ Naga Project (CDAN), the area locally known as wadi (Shig el¬ Ateyat), with emphasis on their original contexts, reuse trajectories, and cultural significance. The finds – ranging from quartzite reliefs of Hatshepsut and temple fragments to funerary cones and stelae – reflect complex patterns of movement, appropriation, and deposition across the Theban necropolis from the New Kingdom through the Coptic period. Their presence in CDAN underscores the active processes of tomb dismantling, material recycling, and reinterpretation of sacred space. Through provenance analysis and comparative contextual study, this work sheds light on evolving religious, social, and architectural practices in Western Thebes, demonstrating how once¬ fixed funerary monuments became part of a dynamic, long¬ lived ritual and domestic landscape.
