Summary/Abstract: This paper outlines the historical, cultural, and intellectual connections between Bosnia and the Urdu-speaking Muslim world, primarily in South Asia and its diaspora. Challenging the popularly held assumptions of minimal ties, it traces the evolution of these connections from the Ottoman and Mughal eras through the colonial and post-colonial periods to the present-day diaspora experience. Drawing on historical memory, print culture, religious solidarity, and literary exchange, the paper reveals how Bosnia was and continues to be imagined by the Urdu-speaking world.
