European Union Law and Brexit

Summary/Abstract: The article examines European Union law as an autonomous supranational legal order and analyzes the impact of Brexit on the development of European integration. Particular attention is paid to Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union and the legal consequences arising from the withdrawal of a Member State from the Union. The study focuses on the processes of Europeanization and institutionalization of EU law, as well as on the role of the Court of Justice of the European Union in establishing fundamental legal principles.
