Summary/Abstract: A review of Polityka historyczna (Historical Policy), the twelfth volume of the 'Social Dictionaries' series edited by Wit Pasierbek SJ and Bogdan Szlachta, published by Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu Ignatianum w Krakowie. Following the series' established methodology, the volume presents a multi-level treatment of its subject area, moving from the deepest ontological and theoretical foundations of historical policy to numerous specific issues in its practical application, beginning with an analysis of the philosophical grounding of historical policy, including entries on the significance of memory for historical policy and on the axiological dimension of historical policy.
