Summary/Abstract: In contrast to the positive reviews of Vuk Karadžić and his work, in the 1860s, the criticism of the language reform appeared in Russian periodicals. Among the critics, the Slavophile Konstantin Aleksić, who criticized Vuk for separating the Serbian language from the Slavic mother tongue, stood out. The criticism of the views of Aleksić and others sharing his opinion in Russian periodicals was written by Panta Srećković. This work remained in manuscript and was published by Vladimir Bovan.
