Summary/Abstract: By researching the vocabulary in contemporary Romanian literature, by structuring it into lexical fields, as a first step, it can be observed the preservation or enrichment of the meaning of some words, the creation of new units. This article is a case study in which we propose to apply the theory of fields in the vision of Eugeniu Coșeriu to the specifics of the poetic texts written by Cosmin Perța. Also, we will use the model of the vocabulary of affectivity, a study of applied stylistics, written by Mihaela Mancaș. We identified a series of lexical fields, which we ordered as follow: spatiality, persons, objects, meteorology, flora and fauna. We finished with the affective section, the richest niche of the vocabulary. We found that many words must be inventoried alongside the other elements of the sequences of which they are part and that the language of affectivity constitutes the foundation of the poems.
