Summary/Abstract: The re-use of public sector information is an important part of open government concepts aimed at building open and transparent government. Today, this is part of the European Union's strategy and, since 2003, a set of requirements for Member States to manage their relations with market participants and stakeholders in a transparent and equal way in order to effectively re-use public data. The present study focuses on the stages of development and future development and seeks to answer what important factors are needed for the re-use of public data to meet the associated social and legislative expectations.
