Summary/Abstract: The current era presents unprecedented challenges in terms of literary substance, but even more so, in terms of reading behavior. A new relational model is emerging, pluralizing the old triad of author-text-reader into (co-)authors-texts-readers, thus breaking the fictional pact to which we were accustomed in order to reconfigure our expectations and a new communication model. The “post-literature” that Alain Finkielkraut speaks of seems particularly burdened by the intrusion of an insidious ideology that penalizes reflection and imagination.
