Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explore and examine the foundations and methods of constructively resolving conflict situations. Methods: The following methods were used: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, comparison, classification, generalization, and hermeneutics. Results: The main result of this paper is the examination of psychological techniques and technologies for regulating conflict interactions. A general systematization of psychological techniques consists of effective communication techniques and cognitive strategies. Effective communication techniques include problem solving, emotional regulation, active listening, and self-affirmation. Cognitive strategies encompass reappraisal, flexible thinking, finding common interests, integrating and sharing information, and empathy. The paper presents a systematization of conflict management technologies, encompassing methods of influencing conflict through prevention, mitigation, and resolution. Conclusions: This paper presents a process for effective conflict management, encompassing identifying the causes of conflict, active listening, seeking compromise, and applying emotional intelligence to resolve disagreements. It also presents conflict theories and highlights their importance as tools for preventing potential conflicts or mitigating existing ones. Key theories include realism, constructivism, escalation, frustration-aggression, and social learning.
