Summary/Abstract: The recent increase in the effective use of digital technologies brings forth the responsibility of individuals to carry their moral attitudes into virtual environments. Problems such as cyberbullying, which arise due to the increasing use of these platforms, are becoming widespread, especially among children and young people. Therefore, examining the attitudes and behaviors of children and youth in digital environments alongside preventive factors is of great importance in minimizing such problems. In this context, the aim of the present study is to examine the relationship between cyberbullying levels and perceptions of moral values in the digital environment among middle school students aged 12-16. The study was designed according to the correlational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. The data were collected from a sample group consisting of 735 participants selected through convenience sampling. Correlation, regression, and t-test analyses were conducted using the SPSS 24 software to analyze the collected data. As a result of the research, a statistically significant negative relationship was found between the participants’ cyberbullying levels and their perceptions of moral values in the digital environment, including all its sub-dimensions (equity-responsibility, compassion-honesty, privacy-civility); furthermore, perceptions of moral values in the digital environment were found to significantly explain cyberbullying in a negative direction. Additionally, it was observed that male students exhibited higher levels of cyberbullying compared to female students, whereas those using the internet under parental control had lower levels of cyberbullying. Finally, it was determined that participants who played online games had lower levels of perception regarding moral values in the digital environment compared to non-players.
